This talk will help you solve the puzzle of composing compelling images in a split second, while also highlighting the important role that serendipity plays in street photography. While sharing his own development as a self-taught photographer, Vineet will cover ways to avoid common mistakes made while composing and key elements that will greatly enhance your own images. Most importantly, Vineet will give you new ways to think about everyday moments and explain why he feels photography is 10% what you see and 90% what you make out of it.

Vineet Vohra is an internationally celebrated street photographer based in New Delhi, India. Vineet holds a masters degree in fine arts from the prestigious college of arts, Delhi. The co-founder of APF magazine and the first Indian Ambassador for Leica Camera, he began his professional career as a wildlife photographer , before turning his lens to the street in 2001. It instantly became a natural passion for him. Today he is one of the most influential street photographers of his generation.

His work has been published on various prestigious magazines, newspapers & blogs all over the world including National Geographic, NYT, The Guardian U.K. He is a frequent lecturer at colleges, throughout India and a leading judge at Photography festivals around the world. Vohra believes everyone should get involved with photography, because it gives back more than one can ever imagine.
