Member Preview: Futuristic Ancestry

A First Look at the New Exhibition

About the event

Fotografiska members are invited to join artist Josèfa Ntjam for an exclusive first look at her exhibition, Futuristic Ancestry: Warping Matter and Space-time(s).

Futuristic Ancestry is an exhibition of Josèfa Ntjam’s work, conceived as a journey through the history and potential futures of emancipatory movements. Through an approach deeply rooted in movement and transformation, Ntjam’s work embodies a fluidity that is both metaphorical and literal in its manifestation, creating a dynamic interplay of hybrid forms and dialogues.

Patron-tier members will have the opportunity to access a live musical performance by experimental jazz group Sun Ra Arkestra, led by saxophonist Marshall Allen. Tickets that include access to the performance are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
