About the Event

We will be exploring the history of natural pigments with an emphasis on how they were used in art making historically. Participants will be creating vibrant, personal 4” x 4” plant dyed fabric on silk/cotton to bring home. All ages welcome!

Laraib Ali (she/her) is an Artist & Herbalist based in NYC with Southwest Asian roots. Inspired by local landscapes & sustainable land practices, her work is dedicated to exploring ways to incorporate earth medicine in non-extractive means through art & education.

For membership: Familj and Patrons are invited for free.
