About the Event
Mimic the process of film photography using just paper, water and light, to create cyanotype prints of various plants. This exercise in unconventional photography offers new ways of seeing through the lens of nature and its wildness. Participants are encouraged to pick plants that speak to them, and will each leave with their own cyanotype print to take home. All ages are welcome.
Herbal Underground is a NYC and Catskills-based collective that seeks to give plant medicine local roots by growing native plants and nurturing relations with local farms. They provide online clinics, open-source resources, classes, and events and make their own herbal medicines in their apothecary.
