About the Event

We will be meeting and deepening relationships with plants that grow throughout New York City often disregarded as weeds. Participants will create drawings inspired by the patterns they find in the leaves and flowers provided, while sipping on some herbal infusions. All ages welcome!

Led by Chilean-American clinical herbalist, gardener, educator, community organizer, co-founder, and artist born and raised in New York City Antonia Estela Pérez. As a food and environmental justice educator, Perez’s work is rooted in their passion for sharing knowledge that interrupts notions of individualism and separatism from nature to grow towards collaborative and symbiotic communities.

For membership: Familj and Patrons are invited for free.
Tickets include museum admission.
